R. George DeFord, Jr.
ATTORNEY
Mr. DeFord attended the University of Washington for one year and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended and graduated from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law of Brigham Young University in 1995.
He was a law clerk to the Honorable Guy R. Burningham in Provo, Utah, and to the Honorable Richard T. St. Clair in Idaho Falls, Idaho, before beginning the formal practice of law.
Since September 1998, Mr. DeFord has been in private law practice, primarily in divorce and custody disputes and consumer bankruptcy. He has maintained his own legal practice since March 2002. Mr. DeFord is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Julie Adams DeFord

Julie Adams DeFord practices law in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship/conservatorship, real estate, contracts, business and business transactions. Ms. Adams DeFord is a member of the Idaho State Bar. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, and her juris doctorate, cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team and earned the award of Order of Barristers. After clerking for a District Judge, Ms. Adams DeFord began working in private practice in 1997. In 2016, Ms. Adams DeFord was sworn in before the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
